On Tuesday night, over 300 Australian media personalities and VIPs celebrated the launch of Bars March.

Formerly called Parched March, the month long event celebrates Sydney bars culture and advocates responsible drinking in support of the Animal Welfare League NSW.

Held at Sydney social hotspot Cafe del Mar in Cockle Bay, the soiree attracted local big names Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich (The Bachelor), Australian actress Teri Haddy, Richard Wilkins, Amy Meredith, Miss World Australia Erin Holland and celebrity vet Dr Katrina Warren.

Stars sipped on a variety of enticing, exotic cocktails, whilst showing support for super cute pet pooch Animal Welfare League ambassadors Oscar & Frank.

I Am Starstruck was also invited to the event, and we can personally say that this launch is only a taster of the fabulous Bars March events to follow next month.  Check out the info below about how you can get involved in this bar culture phenomenon and our gallery from the night.
