Dove slammed for ‘racist’ ad… and it’s not the first time it’s happened

This has happened yet again with skincare brand Dove, which has faced a wave of backlash for its latest advertisement in which a back woman takes off her T-shirt, revealing a white woman with red hair beneath.

The company has pulled the ad and since apologised, saying: “An image we recently posted on Facebook missed the mark in representing women of color thoughtfully.

“We deeply regret the offense it caused.”

As expected, the internet has reacted and people are not happy.
