The 2014 ASTRA Awards were held last Thursday night at Carriageworks in Sydney.

Hosted by Selling Houses Australia‘s Shayna Blaze and Olympic sprinter Matt Shirvington, the Australian subscription television’s night of night celebrated the diverse talents of the industry for the 12th year.

Our very own Alicia “Leeshie” V was the Official Social Media Entertainment Reporter for ASTRA on the night, bringing you all of the hottest goss from the red carpet and media room straight to your Twitter and Instagram feeds.

Some of Australia’s biggest television stars hit the red carpet including Australia’s Next Top Model judges Jennifer Hawkins and Didier Cohen, Channel V hosts Carissa Walford and Danny Clayton as well as the dazzling real housewives of Melbourne.

The star studded soiree also attracted some big international names including Days Of Our Lives stars Kristian Alfonso and Shawn Christian and Teen Wolf actress Crystal Reed.

In addition to recognising talent through awards and some killer on-stage performances by Timomatic and the McClymonts, a special tribute was made to the late Charlotte Dawson.
