The Australian television line up for 2014 is nothing less than spectacular.

All networks have various productions in the pipeline but one that has provoked an immense buzz is Channel 7’s television biopic, INXS: Never Tear Us Apart.

Revisiting the rockstar royalty days of iconic Australian band INXS, the production is set to deliver audiences an insight beyond the sex, drugs and rock and roll of the group.

A great start is always remarkable casting, and this telemovie does not fail to impress.

Leading band member Michael Hutchence is played by Luke Arnold whom based on appearance, was simply born to play the rock god.

Packed To The Rafters favourite Hugh Sheridan plays Garry Gary Beers, Underground: The Julian Assange Story star Alex Williams plays Kirk Pengilly, Ido Drent plays Jon Farriss, Andy Ryan plays Andrew Farriss and Nicholas Masters plays Tim Farriss.

When it comes to leading ladies, X Factor 2012 winner Samantha Jade plays Australian music queen Kylie Minogue, who briefly dated Michael Hutchence.

We chatted to Alex Williams who plays Kirk Pengilly as well as the gorgeous Samantha Jade who revealed that she had big shoes to fill, playing the one and only Kylie Minogue.
