It’s time for a spring fling on the racetrack.

Welcome to Spring racing carnival; where you can frock up, enjoy some bubbly and set the style stakes with some glamorous headwear (fascinators and hats anyone?)

Oh and of course, there’s the opportunity to place a bet or two on your fave race horses… how could we forget?!

The new Royal Randwick grand stand was launched last night with a glamorous gala hosted by the Australian Turf Club.

Big faces that attended the extravagant soiree included racing regular Kate Waterhouse, Sydney Spring carnival ambassadors Laura Csortan and Nathan Jolliffe, fashionistas Laura Dundovic and Nicole Trunfio as well as the Prime Minister’s daughters Frances and Bridget Abbott.

It was all about black and white in the fashion stakes, perfect style-spiration for Derby Day.  Take a look at the hottest pics here.
