There are 3 million Australians living with depression and according to Headspace National Youth Mental Foundation, approximately 6 to 7% of young Australians aged 16 to 24 will experience depression.

Ruby Rose is one of our favourite Australian media personalities – we’veinterviewed her several times and her rock-chic style is to die for.

Earlier this year Ruby cancelled her music tour, announcing that she needed to take time out to seek treatment for depression.

In this video the singer and presenter sits down with Cleo magazine and speaks candidly about what it has been like to be shadowed by the ‘black dog’ from a young age.
