AUSSIE TV NEWS – HUGH SHERIDAN NO LONGER HOSTING AACTA AWARDS
With only a week until the 2013 Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards (AACTAs), organisers have another task on their hand. It’s time for a new host search as actor Hugh Sheridan pulls out of the official hosting gig.
The Logie winning ‘Packed To The Rafters’ actor was announced as the awards night host a few weeks ago, however following schedule clashes, Sheridan has had to withdraw his hosting commitments.
We absolutely love the Rafters cutie, so it will definitely be a shame not to see him.
Nonetheless, the AACTAs will still be a fantastic night, as it celebrates and embraces the diversity of the Australian film and television industry and we can’t wait to hear the announcement of a new host!
‘I Am Starstruck’ will be hitting the AACTAs red carpet on Wednesday 30th January (so stay tuned for our coverage), and a televised broadcast of the awards will be screened on Channel 10 at 9:30pm.
