The Meat and Livestock Association’s Australia Day video for 2017 has been released, and the clip has attracted mix reactions.

Including the likes of Meyne Wyatt, Cathy Freeman, Adam Gilchrist Wendell Sailor and Poh Ling Yeow, the ad shows people from an array of countries, descending on Australian shores to join those who’ve been here ‘since… forever, mate’.

“Aren’t we all boat people,” Poh eventually enquires, leading to an eruption of cheers and dance because we’re “welcome” in this great country.
