As dedicated Rafters fans, tuning in to Channel Seven every Tuesday night was our ritual from 2008 to 2013.

If there was anything more memorable than Rachel and Jake hooking up, or Melissa tragically passing away (we still get teary), it would be the wedding between Ben and Melissa (played by Hugh Sheridan and Zoe Ventoura accordingly).

There’s no question that Melissa’s wedding dress on the show designed by Leonie Grace was to die for! With a laced bodice, and finishing just above the knees, it deviated from the often traditional floor-length gown complete with a veil.

Now Melissa’s portrayer Zoe has got married in real life, the 34-year-old tying the knot with fellow actor Dan MacPherson quite recently.
