THE NEW AUSSIE TV SHOW DESERVING OF A LOGIES WIN IN 2013 – ‘HOUSE HUSBANDS’ (CHANNEL 9)

As many of you would know, the TV Week Logie Awards are my annual television highlight of the year!

My passion for local Australian talent is OVERWHELMINGLY ENTHUSIASTIC AND OVER THE TOP but that’s a good thing – our industry needs more keen supporters out there!

A couple of years ago, it was clearly evident that Channel 7’s ‘Packed To The Rafters’ was worthy of Logies victory, and this year I can just sense Channel 9 already getting excitedly prepped for television’s night of nights which is still months away.

The network’s new show ‘House Husbands’ is refreshingly heart warming and hilariously entertaining.  Being drawn into such compelling content complemented with a lighter side is just AWESOME … I do not regret that 1 hour spent in front of the couch every Sunday night (beauty sleep can wait).

And don’t even get me started on the wonders of Firass Dirani… Yes he’s a looker, but the fact that he can play the ‘King Of The Cross‘ one day and a ‘house husband’ the next spells out PHENOMENAL ACTING TALENT right there!
